The Obelisk and Agglestone Rock, Studland, Dorset

This circular walk climbs up to Ballard Down, walks along it to the Obelisk then over to the Purbeck Golf Course. From the Golf Course the walk continues across Godlingston Heath and Agglestone Rock before returning to Studland.

The Agglestone legend is that the devil threw the stone from the Isle of Wight with the intention of flattening Corfe Castle.
