Downloading picture guides
A picture guide containing the set of walk directions for a walk on walks4softies
can be downloaded on to your computer.
These pictures can then be loaded on to a multimedia device such as an Apple iPod, Microsoft Zune,
Archos Multimedia Player or Creative Zen Vision or some mobile phones or smart phones such as
a BlackBerry.
The picture guides contain a set of images, of type '.jpg', of walk maps
and directions in a convenient '.zip' file package. Once downloaded to your computer to your
computer, just double click on the '.zip' file to get at the set of pictures inside.
You can transfer them to your hand held device.
How you do this is dependent on the device and your computer, try to find instructions in
your device user guide.
The most common problem encountered so far is getting the direction pictures in the
correct order. The solution is to sort the picture files by file name.
