Sturminster Newton is a small lively market town situated in the Vale of Blackmore which Thomas Hardy called the Vale of the Little Dairies.
The town has a number of attractive buildings including a some that are thatched. St Mary's Church, with its light, airy interior, dates from the 15th century.
Sturminster Newton is off the A357 between Blandford Forum and Shepton Mallet. At Sturminster Newton follow the car park signs in the town centre, these will direct you to the Station Road Car Park.
