Bere Regis, Dorset, South West England
Bere Regis is an old and attractive Dorset village which was mentioned in the Doomsday Book back in 1086. Bere Regis is built on the Bere Stream which has protected the nearby picturesque hamlet of Shitterton from the fires that have ravaged Bere Regis in 1777 and throughout its history.
Follow signposts to Bere Regis village centre from the A35 between Dorchester and Bournemouth, then follow signposts to the car park. The car park is usually busy throughout the year.
