Badbury Rings, Dorset, South West England

The first known settlement at Badbury was about 3000 BC. The rings at Badbury are the remains of an Iron Age hill fort. A Roman Legion arrived at around about 43 AD and captured the fort. Today the rings are cared for by the National Trust. Badbury Rings is a high point in the local landscape and provides excellent views in all directions.
No dogs allowed on the rings. No toilets.
Park in the Badbury Rings car park sign posted off the B3082 between Blandford Forum and Wimborne Minster.
